Jane Maa DDS
Dr. Jane Maa was born in Taipei, Taiwan; she then immigrated to Gurnee, Illinois with her family in 1990. Dentistry is a natural combination of her interests in science and artistic expression. She enjoys using her hands to replicating meticulous artworks. Dentistry allows her to use her skills to create beautiful smiles for people.
Dr. Maa earned her Bachelor of Biology degree from the University of Illinois at Champaign and received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery with high honors from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2006. She was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Society and received the Rice Humanitarian Award upon graduation.
She is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, American Dental Association, Chicago Dental Society, and Illinois Dental Society. Dr. Maa is part of a Spear Study Club and completes many continuing education courses concentrating on technology and restorative procedures. Dr. Maa is dedicated not only to giving the best treatment, but to the well-being of her patients as well.
Dr. Maa has practiced dentistry in Glencoe since 2006. She is also dedicated to serve the underserved by going to Haiti for a short-term dental mission trip, previously volunteering on the dental mobile van with Northwest Community Hospital, and possibly assisting Misericordia, a home for individuals with developmental and physical disabilities, with their future dental clinic.
In her free time, Dr. Maa is involved with her church serving the community. She has been married for twelve years and has two children.
